Chapter 12 Nora Blackwell

“Im sorry,” Fiona apologized, quickly moving back to her desk. I couldn't help it, but I started breathing fast and shaking until I heard Ava's comforting voice telling me to take deep breaths. Once I finally calmed down, I glanced around the room. Ava was behind me, looking unsure. The supernaturals were laughing at me while the humans were huddling in the back corner, looking at me with pity. Elain caught my eye, and I could tell she was scared. I smiled, then turned to the

Chapter 11 Nora Blackwell The Rise of the Dead Walker

In the morning, my eyes were crusted from the tears I wiped away last night when I went outside to get some coffee. Bethany and her group were gathered around a table in the far corner, and I could feel their eyes on me. I couldn't care less. I headed straight to the coffee bar and made myself one with little sugar, wanting to wake myself up a bit. I need to think. “Are you ok?” Matthew asked to stay a few feet away from me, like I might attack him. To be honest, I might do i

Chapter 8 Revised of Nora Blackwell

I cried into her arm until I fell asleep. I didn’t know I had that many tears left. Nightmares were filled with blood, crying, and pleading for mercy with my brother, among everyone, crying and asking what I had become. I jolted awake, looking around the room, which may have been dark, but I wasn’t sure anymore if I was seeing it through my eyes or my ghost. I wasn't alone; Elian was curled up beside me, her hand on my hand, holding mine. I could feel the ghost in my room and

Chapter 7 Revised Nora Blackwell

Elain handed me the tray, then shut the door and locked it behind her. “What's up?” I asked. “I'm just going to be honest, I need your help.” She stated her voice was shaking a bit. “What's going on?” I asked, staring at her. “Paula will bring your computer sometime, but I have mine here,” she explained, her voice shaking a bit, sitting at my desk, opening the laptop, and starting to do something. I started my burger while she typed, wondering why she hadn’t already had it up

Chapter 6 Revised Nora Blackwell

In the morning, I went into the hall to get some food and caffeine. Halfway to the drink bar, Bethany ran over to me, grabbed my shoulders, screaming, “What was I thinking?” “Stop!” i screamed, pushing her away, feeling myself shaking. She reminded me of Charlotte, and I could feel hatred filling me. “No, you need to understand he's a monster!” she screamed, grabbing at me again so I could look at her. “Stop.” I snapped, turning away to show her I didn’t want to talk to her a

Chapter 5 Revised Nora Blackwell: Rise of the Dead Walker

I pulled myself out of Matthew’s arms and helped Elain off the floor. I stared at the maids on the other side of the gate, wondering what was about to happen. The lights on the other side of the gate where the maid stood began to turn off one by one, with a loud click, click, click, until all the lights in the rest of the castle were out. The human hall was the only thing lit, and the maid looked creepy as hell with the bit of light on them from the human hall. I could feel m

Chapter 4 Revised Nora Blackwell: Rise of the Dead Walker

We stood there, uncomfortable, looking around, feeling out of place. There were a few other people, but they were focused on what they were doing —eating, reading, and so on. “Hiya, I’m Paula Quintero, and I’m the mom on the human hall, and yes, I’m human. I help everyone get settled in, but first, everyone, please get some food, then I will come get you.” She smiled broadly, her brown eyes warm and welcoming, her black hair braided down her back. She wore a plain grey shirt

Chapter 3 Revised Nora Blackwell: Rise of the Dead Walker

The maids sorted us into ten groups of uneven people. In our group, we have eight boys and twelve other girls. I got put in the same group with that girl who sat beside me, which made me a little happy. It was like having a familiar face, even though I have no idea what her name is. Should I learn any of their names, given what just happened? As we left the room, I looked to the right, where I heard the others run too, and saw that part of the hall’s wall and ceiling was cove

Tired

Been working hard at work and on my story. 60 plus hours a week is a lot to work but I will redo Nora and continue to add chapters.

Updated Chapter Two Nora Blackwell

I could hear Mom talking to them, telling them about how I was on drugs, drinking, and meeting up with strange men at night for money. How could she believe this? She has tracking on my phone and texts me every hour I’m out, and if I don’t respond, she will call back-to-back until I answer. The guy just seemed to listen to be nice. I wanted to scream at her that someone played her, but as I said earlier, I will cut her off just like Linda did. She is no longer my mother. She

Chapter 10

After getting my coffee and some eggs, I sat down with Elian, who was focused on her food. She didn't ask or pry for answers, which I was glad about. “What was going on?” Bethany asked, walking over to us and stopping behind Elain. “We're eating,” Elain replied, showing her plate, and I did my best to hide my grin. “Not that!” Bethany snapped, ” What was going on with that murderer?” “Why is anything I do your business?” I snapped, slamming my fist on the table. I could feel

Chapter 9 Nora Blackwell: Rise Of The Dead Walker

I cried into her arm until I fell asleep. I didn’t know I had that many tears left. Nightmares were filled with blood, crying, and pleading for mercy with my brother, among everything, crying and asking what I would become. I jolted awake in the middle of the night. The room may have been dark, but I wasn't alone. Elian was curled up beside me, her hand on my hand, holding mine. I could feel the ghost in my room and in the hall outside. Chapter 8 Nora Blackwell: Rise of the Dead Walker

Elain handed me the tray, then shut the door and locked it behind her. “What's up?” I asked. “I'm just going to be honest, I need your help.” She stated her voice was shaking a bit. “What's going on?” I asked her to start eating the burger she brought. “Paula will bring your computer sometime, but I have mine here,” she said, sitting at my desk, opening the laptop, and starting to do something. I ate my burger listening to her type, wondering why she didn’t already have it up

Sorry I been Away For A While

I'm sorry I haven't posted. My job had us working a lot of overtime, then on top of that, I got sick, so it's been a fun month, but I hope y'all had the most wonderful Christmas. It's only a few days before this year ends, and we close the chapter on this year. My goal is to post more stories or to stay consistent with posting, either of which is a win. What is your goal?

Chapter Seven of Nora Blackwell: Rise of the Dead Walker

I followed them through the castle, freaking out. I asked them where we were going, but no one answered. “It appears we are heading toward the master of the castle.” The ghost suggested in my mind, making me jump and stumble, almost falling. “Thank you,” I responded in my mind. As we walked to wherever we were going, it was eerie—the only sound was my shoes on the castle floor —but thankfully, there were windows. The blue sky and green fields made me less anxious. If it were

The title Change of Nora

As you can tell, I changed Nora's story title from Nora Blackwell dead walker to Nora Blackwell the rise of the dead walker. The other title was a placeholder until I could come up with something I really liked. I like this because she had to start over after everything that happened to her, and she's trying to get revenge on everyone who ever wronged her.

My Cousin Got Married

He's getting married and I'm just so thrilled. My favorite thing about weddings is watching their facial expression when they see each other for the first time. I also love seeing everyone's face when they first see the bride. I also love hearing the kids say, "She looks like a princess" or something similar. I remember when I was young, seeing my Tomboy cousin dress up and thinking she had a fairy godmother, and then I ran off to be a terror with my other cousins my age. My

Overtime

I haven't been working on any stories like I usually do because we've been working a lot of overtime. After all, it's that time of year. It sucks, but it is what it is. The story won't be late, but might have more spelling errors than usual. So please bear with me.

Chapter 5

Paula called the runner back to where the rest of us stood. It took a minute to convince them, but they eventually did. I started at the maids on the other side of the gate, wondering what was about to happen. The lights on the other side of the gate where the maid stood started turning off one by one, with a loud click, click, click, until all the lights in the rest of the castle were off. The human hall was the only thing lit, and the maid looked creepy with the bit of ligh
